ACTIVITY REPORT FOR DAWAH MEETING

Mosque Tours
591 people where taken on a Mosque Tour. These were from the different
countries like Sweden, Germany, France, Holland, Beligium. Group
tours included the Durban Institute of Technology, Bible Students
(10). A group called Ingwe Communication were also taken on a Mosque
Tour. On Saturday 21 January 2006 we are expecting a group of 21
American Students who will be taken on a Mosque Tour and thereafter
discussion at the IPCI Board Room.
SCHOOL VISITS FROM :
Invitations were forwarded to schools in and around Durban. The
following schools responded positively to our invite. The school
children are taken on a Mosque tour and then view a documentary
on the Big Screen at the Abdul Aziz Auditorium. Light refreshments
are provided to the Learners as well as literature.

IPCI open day 28-11-2005 to 30-11-2005
2 Schools visit and enjoyed the open day i.e. David Landua Primary
& Jumma Masjid. They were shown documentaries on the Big Screen.
The timing of the event was not right and during this period the
learners were completing the examinations.
REVERSIONS
Alhamdulillah 20 people embraced Islam in the above period, of these
5 were Indians, 2 coloureds, 13 blacks. Once these people embrace
Islam at the Centre, they join our Revert Classes and become members
in the IPCI Revert Forum.
REVERT CLASSES
11 Learners have currently registered for the reverts classes which
starts in February 2005.
9 Learners have registered for the Saturday classes.
Application forms have already been filled available from offices.
COMPARATIVE RELIGION – one Week course 3rd to 7Th January
2006.
13 Learners completed the above course.

We cover mosque & Jamaat Khanas in the following areas currently,
Phoenix, Chatsworth, Umgeni, Overport, Pinetown, Chatsworth, Durban
North, North Beach, Marianridge, Bonella, Umbilo. The list of Masjid
is expanding and at times our students are used to give talks.
OUTREACH
October 2005 – Ramadaan Collections was an outreach as we
met many people and the IPCI was marketed. Last two Friday Sheikh
Yusuf Estes CD were sold at Sparks Road Mosque & Queensbridge.
