At the meeting of the board of trustees of the IPCI on the 28 June 2003, the ameer, brother Ahmed Aaeed Moola, nominated brother Dawood Ngwane as the new ameer of the IPCI. The decision was unanamously endorsed by the trustees. Brother Dawood Ngwane is the author of Ubhaqa (the instrument of light), a student of Sheikh Ahmed Deedat an attorney and acting magistrate in the South African courts. The ameer went on to say that his term of office has come to an end and the policy of the IPCI is dynamic leadership change.

The IPCI, through dynamic leadership change and in keeping with the policy of growth and development, have fixed the post of ameership and directorship of the organisation for a two year term.
