What is ADALS?
The Ahmed Deedat Annual Lecture Series (ADALS) is held each year in honour of the late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat — the world-renowned scholar of comparative religion and founder of IPCI. The series brings a distinguished international speaker to South Africa for a nationwide tour of lectures, courses and public programmes.
In the spirit of Sheikh Deedat’s life’s work, ADALS equips Muslims to understand and respond to the intellectual challenges of our time — and invites people of all backgrounds to engage with Islam through reason and dialogue.

Ustadh Abdullah Andalusi
Ustadh Abdullah Andalusi (UK) is a British Muslim thinker and international speaker on Islam, philosophy and contemporary ideologies. He is the founder of the Muslim Debate Initiative and a researcher with the i3 Institute.
He is known for his work in critiquing secularism, liberalism and materialism, and for rebuilding Muslim intellectual confidence through sound Islamic thought.
