Muhammad ﷺ in the Bible

Few topics in interfaith debate provoke as much pushback from Christian missionaries as proving that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is foretold in Jewish and Christian scriptures. In this unmissable session, Mawlana Ismail Moosa brings forward groundbreaking research — insights unheard even across 35 years of field Dawah — to prove emphatically that the Last and Final Messenger of Allah ﷺ was foretold in ancient scriptures. Standing across the podium is Reverend Samuel Green from Australia, a respectful yet seasoned debater who has dedicated over two decades to Christian-Islamic engagement.

Jesus in the Tanakh (pbuh)

Almost every Muslim missionary or Da'ee knows the common encounter: when asking how God is One in the Old Testament yet Three in the New, evangelists often rattle off Old Testament prophecies fitted to Christian theology. Unless you are well-grounded in scripture, their rhetoric can sound convincing. Join us for a monumental debate as Mawlana Ismail Moosa (South Africa) faces Australian Reverend Samuel Green for the second time to unpack this fundamental question.

Public Lecture at Wits Main Campus

IPCI hosted a public lecture and Muslim–Christian dialogue at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg — “Islam or Christianity: which fulfils the prophecies of the prophets?” The programme featured Mawlana Ismail Moosa and Attorney John Gilchrist before a large, engaged audience of students and members of the public. Wits University Dawah Table

IPCI, together with the Wits MSA, ran a Dawah table on the University of the Witwatersrand campus. The stall drew an outstanding turnout, with students stopping throughout the day to ask questions, engage in conversation and take home Islamic literature. (Write-up placeholder — to be updated.)

Mosque Tour — Grey Street Masjid

Learners from Avoca Secondary School visited the historic Grey Street Masjid for a guided mosque tour. Students were welcomed into the mosque, introduced to Islamic beliefs and the daily prayers, and given a look at the heritage of one of Durban's oldest and most iconic mosques — with an open, friendly Q&A throughout.
